How to install the Chrome Extension

If you downloaded the extension as a .zip file, follow these steps:

  1. Download the extension ZIP file.
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Open Google Chrome.
  4. Go to: chrome://extensions
  5. Enable Developer Mode (top right corner).
  6. Click Load unpacked.
  7. Select the extracted extension folder.
  8. The extension will now appear in your Chrome toolbar.

After installation you can log in with your account and start uploading images.

How to install the Screenshot App

  1. Download the ImageHost Screenshot App.
  2. Run the installer (.exe file).
  3. Follow the installation steps.
  4. Launch the application.
  5. Log in using your ImageHost account.

The application will run in the system tray after login.

How to take a screenshot

  1. Press the global hotkey: CTRL + SHIFT + S
  2. Select the area of the screen you want to capture.
  3. Release the mouse button.
  4. The screenshot will automatically upload to your account.
  5. The image link will be copied to your clipboard.
